ADS 192 - TESOL Practicum IC

This course is designed for students to observe English language classes and tutor or assist in teaching English language learners for up to 6 hours. Topics include evaluating major concepts in the structure of English, evaluating grammar structure and best practices in teaching grammar.

Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
1. evaluate English language instruction,
3. discuss best practices in grammar pedagogy,
4. demonstrate an ability to teach concepts in English grammar using communicative and
contextualized, approaches,
5. evaluate learners’ production and provide appropriate feedback, and
6. apply a range of instructional methods and techniques in teaching English language.
