HSL 075 - Corporate Event Planner Module 2 This course is designed to enable the student to learn how to plan, design, and execute a successful corporate event. This is the second module of a three-part series. Upon successful completion of all three modules, the student will be awarded a Certified Corporate Event Planner certification from the Wedding Planning Institute. Topics to be covered include: managing the event, pricing for services and preparing proposals, and setting quality control expectations.
Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
1. identify different types of corporate events services;
2. describe marketing approaches to reach new customers;
3. research the market to present a proposal of options to meet the event budget
restrictions set by a client/event; and
4. discuss risk management, safety and emergency management, and local laws and
regulations.
