HSL 071 - Corporate Event Planner-Module 1 This course is designed to enable students to learn how to plan, design, and execute a successful corporate event. Upon successfully, completing the course, students will be awarded a Certified Corporate Event Planner certification from the Wedding Planning Institute. Topics to be covered include understanding corporate event planner services and project management and planning the event.
Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
1. interview new clients and event stakeholders to create a scope of work, including
venue selection, floor plans, seating accommodations, timelines, and checklist required
to insure a successful event outcome;
2. create backup plans and apply security measures; and
3. apply event planning formulas to the rollout, set up and execution of any corporate
event by implementing critical path methodologies, timelines, and project management
best practices.
