MGT 903 - Making Effective Presentations


This course is designed to enable the student, who is a business or non-profit professional, to learn to develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver effective oral presentations. Topics to be covered include dealing with anxiety, audience analysis, presentation planning, and engaging the audience.  0.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
​1. explain the planning, organization, and design of effective presentations;
2. identify ways of dealing with the fear of public speaking;
3. describe techniques for creating rapport with an audience; and
4. demonstrate effective delivery of an oral presentation using proper speech, voice, and
body language.​

Successful completion of this course provides the student with 0.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
