MAR 017 - Fundamentals of Digital Marketing This continuing education course is designed to provide comprehensive instruction on digital marketing core concepts and prepare students for the Google digital marketing certification exam. Topics to be covered include: business strategy, organic and paid marketing, social media, content creation, search engine optimization, and data analytics.
Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
1. develop a customer-focused online business strategy;
2. create and optimize content in support of an organic online marketing strategy based on
keywords;
3. develop an online marketing campaign utilizing paid search and online display
advertising;
4. explain the differences and best practices related to social media, mobile marketing,
content-focused marketing, email marketing, and online video marketing; and
5. interpret data analytics.
