REA 027 - Supervisory Appraiser/Trainee Appraiser This course is designed to enable supervisory and trainee appraisers to meet the requirements developed by the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) of The Appraisal Foundation (TAF). Topics to be covered include the requirements and responsibilities of both supervisory and trainee appraisers.
Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
1. prepare to meet AQB minimum qualifications for becoming and remaining a supervisory appraiser,
2. outline jurisdictional credentialing requirements for both supervisory and trainee appraisers,
3. discuss responsibilities and requirements of a supervisory appraiser,
4. discuss expectations and responsibilities of the trainee appraiser,
5. cite AQB minimum qualifications for becoming a trainee appraiser,
6. explain processes and roles of the entities involved in establishing qualifications for credentialed appraisers, and
7. prepare to meet qualifications to become a credentialed appraiser.
