HSTO 260 - Trends in Histotechnology

Introduces new practice developments, emerging technologies, and “hot topics” in the current literature within the scope of practice of the histology technician. The course also includes a comprehensive review of the major discipline areas within the histology technician curriculum to prepare the student for the national certification examination. The course provides career preparation with regard to resume writing and interviewing skills. Course offered once a year (summer).
