EDTR 223 - Juvenile Justice 3 Credit(s).
Studies the causes and volume of and trends in delinquent behavior by children. The efforts of social control agencies to predict, prevent, treat and control juvenile delinquency are examined. Emphasis is placed on the organization and procedures used by the juvenile justice system to implement social policies to reduce the incidence of delinquent acts. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
