ERSC 142 - Introduction to Oceanography Lab 1 Credit(s).
Is a course that provides students with hands-on experience using oceanographic data and techniques. Students investigate chemical and physical properties of seawater, biological communities, the interaction of the ocean with the atmosphere, and coastal and shoreline features. Note: Formerly offered as GEOG 142, earn credit for one only. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
Prerequisite(s): ACLT 053 or (ESOL 052 and ESOL 054 ) and MATH 082 Corequisite(s): ENGL 101 and concurrent enrollment in or successful completion, with a “C” or better, of ERSC 141 /GEOG 141 Lab Fee: $40.00 General Education: Biological and Physical Sciences (B) Common Course Outline: ERSC 142 CCO
