SRTC 278 - Surgical Technology Clinical Externship

Allows the student to apply the skills and knowledge obtained in the classroom and laboratory setting to actual surgical procedures and patients in the operating room within an affiliated clinical facility. Students participate in direct patient care under the supervision of nurses, surgeons, and surgical technologists. Course offered once a year (fall or spring).
