MDAS 261 - Clinical Medical Assisting III: Medication Dosing and Administration

3 Credit(s).

Introduces students to drug sources, uses, classifications, errors, side effects, regulations, and legal and ethical considerations.  Applications include dosage calculation, administration techniques, documentation, and biohazard disposal.  This course is the same as OFAD 261. Course offered once a year (fall or spring).

Prerequisite(s): MDAS 253  or (OFAD 253) and MATH 082  or consent of the Program Coordinator
