WLCH 201 - Intermediate Chinese I 3 Credit(s).
Develops cross-cultural communication and global citizenship through the acquisition of reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in Chinese at a intermediate level. Provides connections to other disciplines and cultures through the study of Chinese and develops an awareness of the cultural contributions and socio-political contexts of diverse groups throughout the Chinese-speaking world. Communicative competence at a intermediate level is emphasized, and learning is supported by instructional technology. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
Prerequisite(s): WLCH 102 or two years of high school Chinese Common Course Outline: WLCH 201 CCO
