RESP 102 - Basic Respiratory Care
4 Credit(s).
Introduces fundamental principles of respiratory care; covers patient assessment, medical gas therapy, respiratory pharmacology, sterilization, and microbiology. Includes laboratory practice with equipment necessary to develop basic techniques. 4 lecture hours a week, 3 hours laboratory a week. Course offered once a year (fall or spring).
