EDTR 101 - Foundations of Education

Surveys of the historical, philosophical, sociological, and psychological aspects of the educative process. Issues to be examined include governance and financing of schools, legal challenges in education, and multicultural perspectives of education. Students are introduced to the goals and practices of schools through a number of experiences. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
