BIOL 108 - Investigating the Living World 4 Credit(s).
Provides a general overview of the basic principles of biology, an introduction to scientific thought, and methodology and necessary skills for science literacy. Topics include human biology, cell structure and function, evolution, genetics and ecology. This course transfers to Maryland public colleges and universities as a lower level general education science course and is recommended for education and non-science and non-allied health majors. It is not a prerequisite for any other science course at CCBC. Note: Students may receive General Education credit for only one of the following courses: BIOL 100, BIOL 108, BIOL 110. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
