DCOM 142 - Introduction to Linux/UNIX

3 Credits.

Provides students with the fundamental concepts of Linux and other UNIX and UNIX-like operating systems. Students will use command line utilities, learn basics of shell scripting, pipes, redirection, filename generation and programming fundamentals. Courses offered every fall and spring semester.

Prerequisite(s): CSIT 101  or DCOM 101  or DCOM 141 .
