DCOM 101 - Introduction to Data Communications

Provides an overview of computer networking including servers, switches, routers, LAN’s, WAN’s, network protocols, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, network topologies, and wireless. Topics include network design, implementation, and management, security configuration, and troubleshooting. Designed for a student pursuing a career in networking. Courses offered every fall and spring semester.
