*Credit students who are new to college (no successfully completed college coursework at other institutions) are required to take ACDV 101  in the first semester at CCBC. Program Description

The letter of recognition is designed for individuals new to the field of horticulture. The courses introduce the student to plant identification and the proper planting, maintenance and care of plant material.

Owners of garden centers, nurseries, greenhouses, landscape installation or grounds maintenance businesses may encourage their employees to enroll in these courses so they will become knowledgeable of plant nomenclature and plant care.

Semester Sequence

This certificate can be completed in a single semester. Alternatively, students may choose to take fewer credits over multiple semesters.
