DFAB 202 - Next Generation Manufacturing Strategies 3 Credit(s).
Explores concepts in lean and green manufacturing, including strategies to streamline fabrication processes while minimizing waste, cost, time, pollution, and use of natural resources, while maintaining quality. Students will learn how these concepts are applied in production, with regard to both new digital fabrication technologies and traditional manufacturing processes. NOTE: Course offered once a year (fall or spring)
