(Select four courses) Total Number of Credits Required for Certificate: 39*
*A new college orientation requirement, completion of the one-credit ACDV 101 course, Transitioning to College, went into effect spring 2010. Program Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this certificate, students will be able to:

- identify, describe, and select construction materials and methods used in residential and commercial construction;
- apply various math formulas related to areas, volumes, and quantities of materials as well as formulas for construction costs including: time, labor, material, equipment, and finance;
- assemble and input construction information into various computer software to help control the construction process;
- examine different methods of communication, problem-solving, and decision-making;
- identify and interpret safety and health regulations as they pertain to construction; and
- analyze how to be an effective Construction Manager.
