This is a suggested day schedule for a student who has completed any developmental course work and has no transfer credits. See the program director for a suggested evening schedule. Refer to the College catalog for specific requirements in selecting General Education courses .

Summer Semester Year 1*

MASS 101 - Introduction to Massage 2 Credits. (lecture and lab)

Fall Semester Year 1

BIOL 109 - Human Anatomy and Physiology 4 Credits. (lecture and lab)
ALHL 115 - Medical Terminology 3 Credits.
ENGL 101 - College Composition I 3 Credits.
SPCM 101 - Fundamentals of Communication 3 Credits.

Note:

Students must be admitted into the program through the School of Health Professions Admissions Office to continue beyond this point. Deadline for spring admission is November 15.

Spring Semester Year 1

MASS 110 - Musculoskeletal System: Structure and Function 3 Credits. (lecture and lab)
MASS 210 - Level I – Massage 5 Credits. (lecture and lab)
MATH 111 - Ideas in Mathematics 3 Credits.

Summer Semester Year 2

MASS 220 - Level II – Massage 6 Credits. (lecture, lab and clinic)
MASS 222 - Pathology for Massage Therapists 3 Credits.

Fall Semester Year 2

MASS 223 - Foundations in Massage Therapy Research 3 Credits. (lecture and clinic)
MASS 112 - Movement Exploration for Massage Therapists 3 Credits.
MASS 221 - Massage Modalities 4 Credits.
PSYC 101 - Introduction to Psychology 3 Credits.

Spring Semester Year 2

MASS 225 - Client Assessment 3 Credits.
MASS 230 - Level III Massage 6 Credits.
MASS 240 - Seminar in Massage Therapy 3 Credits.
Gen. Ed. Elective - Arts and Humanities or Social and Behavioral Sciences 3 Credits.
