Total Number of Credits Required for Program 13*
*A new college orientation requirement, completion of the one-credit ACDV 101 course, Transitioning to College, went into effect spring 2010. Students are required to provide an official transcript(s) to document successful completion of college coursework at another institution(s) in order for this requirement to be waived. Program Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this certificate, students will be able to:
- successfully complete ASE testing for Brakes and Suspension Certification;
- diagnose and repair brakes and related systems; and
- use necessary machinery to refinish brake system parts.
Program Description:
Individuals successfully completing this certificate will be ready for employment opportunities in the automotive repair industry such as brake technician, suspension technician and wheel alignment technician. |
