* A new college orientation requirement, completion of the one-credit ACDV 101  course, Transitioning to College, went into effect spring 2010. If you are a credit student who is new to college (meaning you have not successfully completed college coursework at another institution(s)), you are required to take ACDV 101  during your first semester at CCBC, thereby increasing the number of credits required for the degree to 67 credits. Students are required to provide an official transcript(s) to document successful completion of college coursework at another institution(s) in order for this requirement to be waived.

Program Outcomes:


Upon completion of this degree, students will be able to:

  1. perform a financial risk analysis;
  2. identify, evaluate, recommend, and market e-business solutions;
  3. develop a comprehensive e-business plan;
  4. apply strategies to improve and update web technologies, systems design, and security protocols;
  5. comply with ethical, legal, and international standards and regulations; and
  6. speak and write effectively for professional business communication.

Program Description:


The E-Business Management A.A.S. degree is designed for a student who is interested in working as part of the management team of a company that engages in e-Business activities. Graduates of this degree can expect to be hired in entry-level management positions such as E-Business Project Manager, E-Business Marketing Manager, or E-Business Specialist. All of the courses in the program are offered in the online environment.

Transfer Pattern:


Through articulation agreements established with Walden University, University of Maryland University College, and Towson University, students can turn their A.A.S. degree earned at CCBC into a bachelor’s degree. Students who wish to transfer are encouraged to consult with the program coordinator.
