* Diversity Course: Students are required to take one Diversity course. Choose a course marked with an asterisk.

**The courses must come from two different disciplines or be two sequential courses (these courses are labeled I and II in their titles) from one discipline. One of the courses must be a lab.

The above chart lists the General Education requirements for the Associate of Arts in Humanities and Social Sciences (A.A.) transfer degree. This degree requires a minimum of 36-39 credits of General Education from the categories listed above. Students should contact an academic advisor for possible additional courses.

Students must successfully complete appropriate developmental prerequisites, in addition to other specified prerequisites, before enrolling in any course that fulfills a General Education requirement.
