SOCL 101 - Introduction to Sociology 3 Credit(s).
Is a course in which students examine social interactions and the use of sociological perspectives to explain the individual relationships, as well as interactions among the groups and societies that shape them. Students cover basic concepts such as culture, socialization, social inequality, social power, deviance, social control, institutions, and global issues. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
