DCOM 218 - Cisco II: Routing and Switching Essentials 4 Credit(s).
Explores the architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in a small network. Students configure a router and switch for basic functionality. Students troubleshoot routers and switches and resolve common issues with routing in both Internal Protocol version 4 (IPv4) and Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) networks. NOTE: Course offered fall, spring, and may be offered during additional sessions.
Prerequisite(s): DCOM 217 or consent of the Program Coordinator. Lab Fee: $20.00
