RECR 242 - Women and Leisure 2 Credits.
Offers a social psychological analysis of women and their leisure from a feminist perspective; provides a philosophical framework; covers the historical perspective, theoretical assumptions of feminism, realms of women’s leisure, lifespan perspectives, research, constraints placed on women and their leisure, and the future of leisure participation for women. May be used to fulfill 2 credits of the General Education requirement in the Global, Historical, and Cultural Perspectives: Interdisciplinary Emerging Trends. 2 lecture hours per week. Courses offered every fall and spring semester.
Same As: WMST 242 . Credit can be earned for one course only. Prerequisite(s): RDNG 52 (or ESOL 54 )
