OCTA 269 - Psychosocial Fieldwork

4 Credits.

Concludes the two-course sequence. Prepares the student to transition into the role of an entry level OTA under close supervision. This fieldwork focuses on patients with psychiatric diagnoses where the student provides treatment and documentation on an assigned patient caseload. 300 fieldwork hours. Courses offered every fall and spring semester.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of OCTA 201, OCTA 206, OCTA 211, OCTA 222, OCTA 211, and OCTA 226 with a “C” or better. All General Education courses must be completed with a “C” or better. Students must complete OCTA 269 within 18 months of completing the academic course work.
