NURN 236 - Nursing Concepts III


8 Credits.

Prepares the student nurse for the transition to the role of the registered nurse. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of cellular regulation, elimination, neural regulation, perfusion, and sensory/perception. Supervised simulations and clinical experiences are designed to provide students with the opportunity to assume the role of the nurse generalist to manage groups of patients and delegate appropriate tasks. Note: An additional diagnostic test fee is required at time of registration. Courses offered every fall and spring semester.
