Important Information


Short Description


The LOR is granted to students in the Criminal Justice Studies  Program who complete the identified courses with a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or better. Students must earn a 2.0 or higher in each of these individual courses. In addition, students must take two of these three courses at CCBC. This recognition can be earned by Criminal Justice majors prior to completion of the certificate or degree, as a credential to show potential employers that they have achieved competency in the recognition and understanding of social justice issues and situations and are prepared to develop the necessary strategies to make an impactful difference in their field.

The courses can also be used for the Criminal Justice Studies Certificate  (1 required course and 2 electives) or AAS degree in Criminal Justice Studies  (3 required courses), as well as the Paralegal Studies Certificate  (3 electives) or AAS degree (3 electives) in Legal Studies . The courses included in this LOR are available in all modalities.
