DIGM 273 - Internship in Digital Media Production


3 Credit(s).

Provides students the opportunity to apply classroom learning, training, and skills to a work environment. Students acquire work experience with businesses, educational institutions, television and media production studios, independent organizations, freelance professionals, and advertising agencies to perform digital media tasks to meet their client’s needs. Students will use all the knowledge and training they received over the course of their studies in the Digital Media Production Program to provide various media services. This course requires supervision by an appropriate advisor, established learning objectives, creation of a public portfolio, and submissions of digital media journals documenting the completion of the learning objectives. This course requires a minimum of seventy-five hours of work with an approved company or individual.  Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): DIGM 112  and DIGM 152 , or permission of the Program Coordinator
