This continuing education course is designed to prepare students to sit for a national phlebotomist certification examination. Topics to be covered include: common test-taking strategies, and review of major core competencies of phlebotomists.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
1. discuss a phlebotomist’s skills,
2. define the responsibilities and functions of phlebotomists across various healthcare environments, and
3. prepare to pass successfully a national phlebotomist certification exam.
