VOB 102 - Certified Residential Interior Designer Part 2

This course is designed to prepare the student for a career as a residential interior designer and to prepare the student for the Certified Residential Interior Designer Education (R.I.D.E.) exam. Topics to be covered include the continued study of interior design theory and practice, increased discussion on industry regulations, portfolio creation, and preparation for the Residential Interior Designer Education exam.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

1. discuss intermediate theories of interior design,
2. discuss compliance and continued education on industry regulation and compliance,
3. describe space planning,
4. perform continued work on portfolio development, and
5. discuss test-taking strategies for the Residential Interior Designer Education exam.
