PCO 483 - Mastering Accessibility in Google Workspace

This course provides hands-on training in making Google Workspace tools accessible, including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail. Participants will explore accessibility features, formatting techniques, and best practices for collaboration.

Topics to be covered include:
1. Accessibility in Google Docs (Headings, Alt Text, Formatting)
2. Creating Accessible Spreadsheets in Google Sheets
3. Designing Inclusive Presentations in Google Slides
4. Email Accessibility in Gmail
5. Collaboration and Sharing for All Users
6. Creating Accessible PDFs from Word and Google Do

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

1. Use Google Docs’ accessibility features effectively.
2. Format Google Sheets for improved accessibility.
3. Design Google Slides presentations that meet accessibility standards.
4. Apply best practices for email accessibility in Gmail.
5. Ensure inclusive collaboration using Google Workspace tools.
6. Create accessible PDFs from Word and Google Docs.
