This continuing education course is designed for students in professional settings to develop skills in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint. Students will be prepared to earn the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Expert certification. Topics to be covered include: creating basic presentations; using the ribbon and toolbars; formatting presentations; images, tables, and charts; presentation special effects; SmartArt and multimedia; creating slideshow and customizing presentations; and managing multiple presentations.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
1. create basic presentations;
2. use the ribbon and quick access toolbar;
3. use formatting features in presentations;
4. utilize images, tables, and charts;
5. construct presentations with special effects;
6. use SmartArt, multimedia, and special effects;
7. create slide shows and customize presentations; and
8. manage multiple presentations.
