CHA 149 - Video Game Animation 4.4 Continuing Education Units (CEU). This course is not for Credit(s).
This course is designed to provide the student with hands-on experience using software programs common in the video game industry. Students will learn practices common in the production of video games and in the process of animating video games. Topics to be covered include the definition and types of computer-generated animation and the use of animation in video game production.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
1. identify and utilize key software common in the video game industry,
2. demonstrate the use of video game software in no fewer than two types of animation,
3. identify no fewer than three types of animation in commonly purchased video games, and
4. complete a video game animation sequence.
