HSL 074 - Certified Wedding Planner - Module 4

This course is designed to enable the student to learn the fundamentals of planning, orchestrating, and delivering weddings and parties. This is the final module of a fourpart series; upon successful completion, the student will be awarded the Certified Wedding Planner certification from the Wedding Planning Institute. Topics to be covered include: wedding cultures and traditions, non-traditional wedding ceremonies, destination weddings, and expanding business offerings.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

1. discuss methods to incorporate international wedding cultures and traditions,
2. describe elements of destination weddings and how they differ from a planning perspective,
3. describe organizational software that may help streamline daily activities and work plans, and
4. identify additional products and services that could be added to a wedding planning business.
