This course is designed to enable the student to learn to start a travel career and about domestic and international travel destinations. Topics to be covered include the travel industry, airline, ground transportation, hotels and resorts, cruises, tours, specialty travel, and more.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

1. identify types of international travel;
2. recognize types of air travel, transportation, accommodations, and vacations;
3. describe the career development as a travel agent; and
4. identify the four P’s of marketing, promotion, and strategy.
