HSL 076 - Corporate Event Planner - Module 3

This course is designed to enable the student to learn how to plan, design, and execute a successful corporate event. This is the final module of a three-part series. Upon successful completion of this module, the student will be awarded a Certified Corporate Event Planner certification from the Wedding Planning Institute. Topics to be covered include: monitoring event outcomes, development of an exit strategy, and management of the unexpected.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

1. discuss strategies to run your own business more effectively,
2. list examples of methods to monitor event outcomes,
3. develop a departure and exit strategy, and
4. describe techniques to manage the unexpected.
