MGT 925 - INTRODUCTION TO PROJECT MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES XX Continuing Education Units (CEU). This course is not for Credit(s).
Course Objectives:
This continuing education course is designed for business professionals to provide an overview of key concepts and skills needed to plan a project and improve project outcomes. Topics to be covered include: planning the project, working the plan, and communicating for project success. Participants will learn tools and techniques they can use immediately to become more effective in project management roles.
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
1. define a project;
2. identify basic stages of a project;
3. define the roles, responsibilities, and needs of project team members;
4. identify and apply critical project management tools;
5. identify stakeholders, their relationships to each other, and how these relationships affect projects; and
6. identify and apply critical communication tools and protocols
