MAR 017 - FUNDAMENTALS OF DIGITAL MARKETING XX Continuing Education Units (CEU). This course is not for Credit(s).
Course Objectives:
This continuing education course is designed to provide comprehensive instruction on digital marketing core concepts and prepare students for the Google digital marketing certification exam. Topics to be covered include: business strategy, organic and paid marketing, social media, content creation, search engine optimization, and data analytics.
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
1. develop a customer-focused online business strategy;
2. create and optimize content in support of an organic online marketing strategy based on keywords;
3. develop an online marketing campaign utilizing paid search and online display advertising;
4. explain the differences and best practices related to social media, mobile marketing,
content-focused marketing, email marketing, and online video marketing; and
5. interpret data analytics.
