This course is designed for the apprentice who is a registered first year electrical apprentice, inside wiring, and is working toward journeyman status. Topics include: tools and equipment, basic electrical circuits, and AC and DC generation.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
1. Perform basic calculations relating to the electrical trade.
2. Select appropriate conductors and insulation based on electron theory.
3. Classify wire size and resistance potential.
