APP 395 - ABC Carpentry Apprenticeship - 1st Year Part B


7.8 Continuing Education Units (CEU). This course is not for Credit(s).

This course is designed for the student who is a registered first year carpenter apprentice who is employed full-time and working toward journeyman status. Topics include: fasteners, adhesives, concrete handling and placement, and industrial safety.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

1. Identify and then apply appropriate fasteners and adhesives to wood, concrete, and metal.
2. Mix, move, pour, and finish concrete.
3. Use safe procedures relating to handling materials, scaffolding, and ladders.
