This course is designed for the student who is a registered first year carpenter apprentice who is employed full-time and working toward journeyman status. Topics include: related math, hand tools care and use, and stationary and portable power tools.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

1. Use basic mathematics related to the carpentry trade.
2. Identify, use and care for hand tools of the carpentry trade.
3. Identify, use and maintain stationary and portable tools of the trade.
