MGT 773 - Presentation Skills for Business Professionals

This course, for business professionals, is designed to provide instruction on developing effective presentation skills. Topics include facilitating a discussion, engaging the audience, the power of story telling, organizing a presentation, polishing a presence, body language, and voice control.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

1. discuss how to recognize the target audience;
2. discuss how to manage difficult situations;
3. describe how body language and voice control impact a presentation;
4. describe techniques to organize and deliver a clear, concise presentation; and
5. plan, prepare, and rehearse a presentation.
