Reviews the theoretical and practical study of the periodontium and changes that occur in the presence of disease processes. It includes the ideology, classification. diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of periodontal disease. Emphasis is placed on prevention and controlling the disease process. Course offered once a year (fall or spring).
