This course is designed to enable the student to learn the fundamentals of planning, orchestrating, and delivering weddings and parties. This is module 2 of a three-part series. The topics to be covered include skills of wedding planning, use of project management skills, and methods of creating quality wedding packages.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
1. develop skills needed to jumpstart a career as a wedding planner or event
coordinator;
2. explain how to develop a client profile, and how to set vendor and customer
expectations;
3. demonstrate use of project management skills;
4. explain how to evaluate competition;
5. create quality wedding packages; and
6. describe how to work with prospective clients and create a plan.
