This course is designed to enable the student to learn to start a travel career and about basic and destination geography. Topics to be covered include the introduction to travel industry, professional skills, basic geography, and destination geography.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
1. provide an overview of the travel industry;
2. demonstrate professional skills including customer service skills, active listening, and communication; and
3. recognize basic geography and destination geography.
