HSL 071 - Corporate Event Planner-Module 1

This course is designed to enable students to learn how to plan, design, and execute a successful corporate event. Upon successfully, completing the course, students will be awarded a Certified Corporate Event Planner certification from the Wedding Planning Institute. Topics to be covered include understanding corporate event planner services and project management and planning the event.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
1. interview new clients and event stakeholders to create a scope of work, including venue selection, floor plans, seating accommodations, timelines, and checklist required to insure a successful event outcome;
2. create backup plans and apply security measures; and
3. apply event planning formulas to the rollout, set up and execution of any corporate event by implementing critical path methodologies, timelines, and project management best practices.
