PCA 884 - JavaScript Developer Module 1

9 Continuing Education Units (CEU). This course is not for Credit(s).

This course is designed to enable the student to learn JavaScript, jQuery, and Vue.js. Topics to be included are Introduction to JavaScript, Advanced JavaScript Concepts, React, Vue, and Introduction to jQuery.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
1. demonstrate understanding of the basic constructs of JavaScript,
2. use JavaScript to access and change page elements and their properties,
3. test and debug JavaScript using Google Chrome,
4. demonstrate understanding of advanced JavaScript techniques in preparation for
learning specific frameworks, and
5. demonstrate the ability to build applications using Vue and React frameworks, and
6. use jQuery to maintain and modernize existing websites.
